Jake Tyler Duffield, a 28-year-old from Norfolk, has died while on holiday in Ibiza, leaving his family and friends devastated. The circumstances surrounding his death on the Spanish island remain unclear. His stepmother, Nicki Duffield, described him as a "kind caring lad who loved the party vibes."
Fundraiser to Bring Jake Home
A GoFundMe page has been set up by pub landlord Paul Sandford from Dereham to cover the costs of repatriating Jake's body to the UK. The fundraiser has already raised over £23,000. Sandford said: "The news has left everyone who knew and loved him completely devastated. Our immediate priority is to bring Jake home to the UK, where his family can finally have him close and give him the farewell he truly deserves."
Family's Heartfelt Tribute
Nicki Duffield, Jake's stepmother, wrote: "Please help if you can, this lad was my step son, a kind caring lad who loved the party vibes. Jake had been part of my life since 2010, and I watched him become the lovely man that he was."
Community Support
Sandford added: "Your support, kindness, and generosity will mean more than words can express. On behalf of Jake's family and friends, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and support. Let's bring Jake home." The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has been contacted for comment.
