The UK's most affordable seaside town for ice cream has been identified as Bardsea in Cumbria, according to research by money experts at Moneyboat. The study analysed TripAdvisor ratings and value scores to compile a top 10 list of budget-friendly coastal destinations for ice cream lovers.
Bardsea scored a perfect 100, with local favourite Roy's Ices earning a 4.9 rating for both overall experience and value. One reviewer described it as a 'must-do' in the area, praising the variety of flavours, cones and lollies. The town offers scenic Bardsea Beach and a charming village to explore.
Dawlish in Devon took second place with a score of 97.5, thanks to top-rated spots like The Local Scoop and Salty Dog Kiosk. Scarborough in North Yorkshire came third with 92.95, where Crema E Cioccolato achieved a perfect 5.0 overall rating. Saltburn-by-the-Sea, also in North Yorkshire, ranked fifth with 88.18.
