The Guardian is inviting readers to share their favourite smaller ski resorts in Europe that have kept a relaxed, uncrowded feel and retained local character. The best tip, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, wins a £200 voucher towards a stay at a Coolstays property, which has more than 3,000 properties worldwide.
How to enter
Tips should be about 100 words. While relevant photos are welcome, the written tip is what will be judged. Entrants must be UK residents for legal reasons. The competition closes on Monday 12 October at 10am BST.
Where tips will appear
The best tips will be published in the Guardian Travel section and on the website. Readers can also view past winners and other tips, and read the terms and conditions online.
Tips can be shared anonymously if desired, and the form is encrypted so only the Guardian has access to contributions. Personal data will be used only for the feature and deleted when no longer required.
