Fox's Lair has an overall rating of 4.87 out of five on Airbnb, with one guest writing: "Such a special place, having a bath in the forest was absolutely magical and there were so many birds on the feeder in the morning. Everywhere was spotless and it was just a lovely experience. Mhairi sent a text when we could check in which was two hours before check in time which was lovely, and her communication was superb. Everything worked, we loved the off grid feel and would definitely recommend friends to stay for a little treat night away."
A three-star review reads: "We thought it was overpriced and expected it to be a bit luxurious." The interiors of Fox's Lair are described as understated and calming, ideal for a relaxing retreat, with the bedroom looking as beautiful as it does cosy.
