Parkdean Resorts is offering Nickelodeon Weekenders and Tots' Breaks from £99 for four nights, with free kids' meals and character appearances, as families look ahead to autumn staycations.
The holiday park operator, which has 65 sites across Britain's coastline and countryside, is promoting themed weekenders, all-inclusive deals and budget-friendly breaks for families wanting to avoid airports and overseas travel.
Tots' Breaks and Nickelodeon Weekenders
For families with children under five, Tots' Breaks include free activities such as Swim Tots, Messy Play, Milkshake! Mornings, Pip & Posy experiences and appearances from PAW Patrol characters. Four-night breaks start from £99, and kids eat free, with families able to save up to £70 on breakfast, lunch and dinner during their stay.
The Nickelodeon Weekender, meanwhile, lets children meet characters including PAW Patrol's Chase, Marshall and Skye, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora the Explorer. Entertainment includes Nick Party Dances, themed games, arts and crafts, swimming sessions and live shows.
All-inclusive options and other parks
All-inclusive add-ons are available at 45 of Parkdean's parks, on selected four-night stays arriving on a Monday outside school holidays. Packages start from £100 per adult and £40 per child, including three restaurant meals a day, unlimited soft drinks and Costa Coffee, with dedicated children's menus.
Other UK holiday park operators are also offering autumn breaks. Haven, with more than 30 locations from the North Yorkshire coast to Blackpool, Kent, Devon and Somerset, has Halloween breaks with themed activities, with four-night October stays from £69. Forest Holidays, with 13 woodland locations including Deerpark in Cornwall and Strathyre in Stirling, offers lodges with private hot tubs sleeping up to 10, with discounts on selected last-minute September stays.
Guest reviews
Customer reviews of Parkdean parks were largely positive. One guest at Ty Mawr in North Wales praised the location, entertainment and restaurant service, while another at Vauxhall highlighted the escape room, bouncy castle and staff, particularly Robyn. A visitor to Romney Marsh described the park as "lovely and clean" with professional entertainment and hosts Ellie and Amy.
Some guests noted areas for improvement. One at Brynowen said the beach and views were stunning but found food and drink at the clubhouse expensive. A visitor to Looe Bay mentioned the toilet in the silver caravan was small and that swimming pool sessions were limited to set times. Another guest at Todber Valley praised the attention to detail, the caravan, the views and the dog-friendly walks, adding: "Excellent for SEN parents/carers."
