Nao Santa Maria Ship: Tickets, Dates, Times

The Nao Santa María, a full-scale replica of Christopher Columbus' flagship, will visit Liverpool's Royal Albert Dock from Wednesday, August 12 to Saturday, August 15. The ship is part of an international historical outreach tour, with Liverpool selected as one of 30 ports included this year.

Construction and Background

The replica was built by the Nao Victoria Foundation in Punta Umbría (Huelva, Spain), with funding from the Huelva Provincial Council and the Cajasol Foundation. Construction took 14 months, starting in January 2017 and completing in March 2018.

Visitor Experience and Tickets

The ship will be open daily from 10AM to 8PM, subject to change based on weather. Visitors can take self-guided tours across four decks, featuring 15th-century period decorative details and information panels. The crew will be available to talk about life on board 500 years ago.
