Manchester's Miracle on Cross Street Christmas bar returns after 3-year break
Miracle on Cross Street returns after three-year hiatus

Miracle on Cross Street, the underground festive pop-up bar in Manchester, will return on Thursday, 19 November after a three-year hiatus, with tickets priced at £20 per person.

The bar, located beneath Salt Dog Slims on Cross Street, will run for five weeks until Wednesday, 23 December. The 2026 edition is described as a new, 'more refined' experience, featuring festive décor, seasonal drinks and nostalgic Christmas touches.

A refined festive experience

Michael Wood, Head of Bar Operations for Miracle on Cross Street, said: "We're incredibly excited to bring Miracle on Cross Street back to Manchester. It has been three years since we last opened the doors and, while guests can expect the same sense of fun, escapism and Christmas spirit, we've refined the experience and added some special new touches for 2026."

"Christmas in Manchester is always brilliant, and we want Miracle on Cross Street to be somewhere people can step away from the busy city, enjoy a festive drink and completely immerse themselves in the magic of the season. Whether it's a Christmas catch-up, date night or festive celebration with friends, we can't wait to welcome everyone back."

Tickets and treats

Each £20 ticket includes a festive drink on arrival and a Christmas goody bag to take home. Guests will also receive complimentary mince pies and Quality Street during their visit.

After leaving, every visitor gets a scratch card offering surprises and rewards to enjoy upstairs at Salt Dog Slims, including free shots and hot dogs, plus the chance to win a £500 cash prize.

What to expect

Previous iterations of the bar have featured candy cane cocktails, mulled wine, Baileys and mince pies. Last time, guests could sit by roaring fires and enjoy a Gingerbread Old Fashioned, alongside boozy hot chocolates and unlimited sweet and savoury treats. The space was dressed head-to-toe in festive décor, Christmas trees and fairy lights, designed to make customers walk off the street into a winter wonderland grotto.

Miracle on Cross Street will also offer a glimpse of what is to come from MDNT, the late-night bar usually found beneath Salt Dog Slims, ahead of its return in the new year.

The bar will be open seven days a week from Thursday, 19 November until Wednesday, 23 December. Bookings are now open with high demand expected, and booking is recommended via the website. Miracle on Cross Street is at 17 Bow Lane, Manchester, M2 4FW.
