Merlin Entertainments has launched a summer sale on annual passes and monthly memberships, offering unlimited access to over 20 UK attractions including Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, LEGOLAND, and Chessington. The sale, which started today, reduces the cost of Gold and Platinum passes and monthly memberships.
A Gold monthly membership now costs £16.99, which is cheaper than a Netflix Premium subscription at £18.99 per month. Annual passes are also discounted: Gold from £239 to £189, and Platinum from £299 to £249. Monthly Gold drops from £19.99 to £16.99, and Platinum from £24.99 to £20.99.
Gold members enjoy 364 days' entry, free parking, and 20% off food and shopping. Platinum members get no exclusion dates, four bring-a-friend passes, and a free Fastrack per visit. The cheapest Essentials pass, at £139 annually, offers 339 days' access but excludes Saturdays in August.
New attractions this summer include World of PAW Patrol at Chessington and Bluey the Ride at Alton Towers' CBeebies Land. Other Merlin venues like the London Eye, SEA LIFE centres, Madame Tussauds, and Cadbury World are also included.
For comparison, a single day ticket to Alton Towers starts at £34. The Merlin Pass Summer Sale ends June 28. Visit the Merlin website for more details.
