Families and thrill-seekers have only a few days left to take advantage of major savings on year-round access to some of the UK's most popular attractions in the Merlin Annual Pass Summer Sale. The limited-time offer, available until Sunday, June 28, includes £50 off both Gold and Platinum Merlin Annual Passes, alongside discounted monthly membership options.
The promotion covers entry to more than 20 attractions across the UK, including Alton Towers Resort, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and the London Eye. The sale comes as many families begin planning their summer holidays and days out.
As part of the offer, the Gold Pass has been reduced from £239 to £189, while the Platinum Pass now costs £249, down from £299. Monthly memberships have also been discounted, with Gold Membership falling from £19.99 to £16.99 per month and Platinum Membership dropping from £24.99 to £20.99 per month. Based on the discounted price, the Gold Pass works out at around 52p per day across the year.
By comparison, standard advance tickets for major UK theme parks typically range from around £35 to £70 per person, depending on the date and demand. For a family of four, a single visit to a major park can cost roughly £140 to £280 or more, meaning two or three visits over a year can quickly exceed the cost of a Merlin annual pass.
The timing of the sale coincides with several major developments across Merlin’s attractions portfolio. At Chessington World of Adventures Resort, visitors can experience the new World of PAW Patrol, while Alton Towers Resort has introduced Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies. Elsewhere, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is also celebrating its 30th birthday with seasonal events.
Beyond admission, Gold Pass members enjoy additional benefits such as complimentary parking and 20% discounts on food, beverages and merchandise. Platinum Pass members gain extra advantages, including Fastrack priority access, Bring a Friend vouchers, mini golf and savings of up to 15% on Merlin Holiday Club short breaks.
