Go Ape Northumberland Hosts First Adults-Only Night Sessions This Summer
Go Ape Northumberland Adults-Only Night Sessions Summer 2026

Go Ape in Northumberland has confirmed its first ever adults-only night time sessions for this summer, offering those aged 18 and over a chance to 'level up' their week nights with a high ropes adventure. The popular attraction, nestled in the grounds of a stunning country estate in Matfen, invites adults to engage in team building and bonding activities.

Session Details and Schedule

The adults-only sessions will run from Thursday and Friday evenings from July 1 to July 31, 4-8pm, and on Thursdays and Fridays in August from 5-8pm. The focus is on the Treetop Challenge, which features five thrilling sections with obstacles of increasing daring. Participants can take on five epic zip wires up to 160 metres long, the 'skateboard' zip, and the legendary Tarzan Swing.

According to Go Ape, the experience is designed to swap queuing at the bar for flying on a zip line, offering an alternative way to socialise after work. A teaser reads: 'Swap queuing at the bar for flying by on a zipline. It's the only way to really hang out with your mates after work. It's time to take the day offline, reeeeally offline and switch that out-of-office on.'
