Hot Tottie, the team behind the wood-fired saunas in Luss, has revealed a new floating sauna boat for Loch Lomond. The boat, which includes its own roof deck, will be available to book from October.
New sauna boat details
The wood-fired sauna boat is made from scratch in Sweden and can fit eleven guests at once. It is designed for groups and allows guests to enjoy a cold water loch dip between sauna sessions.
Hot Tottie, run by brother and sister Kieran and Lauren Izzett, teased the new model on Instagram this week. Sharing a video of the floating sauna, they wrote: "So.. we've been keeping a secret."
Roof deck and views
The boat comes with a large roof deck where guests can sunbathe in the warmer months while taking in views of Loch Lomond. The exact location from which it will be accessed has not yet been confirmed.
Hot Tottie shared a sneak peek of the inside and outside of the boat, announcing the experience will be bookable from October.
Health benefits and popularity
The contrasting effects of heat and cold can improve circulation, regulate hormones, reduce inflammation, and boost overall mood. The new sauna has already drawn enthusiastic reactions from followers, with comments including "This is amazing!!!!! I’m sooo happy something different and new!" and "Wow this looks incredible!"
Hot Tottie's original wood-fired lochside sauna in Luss opened in 2024, and a second location followed at Dumbrock Loch in Milngavie. The experience involves 55-minute wood-fired sauna sessions paired with cold open-water dips. Weekday and weekend sessions typically cost from £13-£15 per person, while private hire ranges from £100-£125 per session.
