Disney Cruise Line is offering a 40% discount on select cruises to mark World Gratitude Day, which falls on 21 September. The promotion, available until 25 September, applies to specific sailings aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Wish, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy departing between 17 October and 19 December 2025.
Most of the affected cruises are holiday-themed, with special programming and seasonal ship decor. Departure ports include Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral in Florida, as well as Galveston, Texas and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The discount is valid for Verandah, Oceanview and Inside staterooms booked under the Guaranteed Stateroom with Restrictions category, with cabins assigned closer to embarkation.
The offer comes just months before the launch of two new ships, the Disney Destiny and the Disney Adventure. The Destiny is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on 20 November, with a heroes-and-villains theme featuring characters from Disney, Pixar and Marvel. Its themed venues will include a Cruella De Vil lounge, a Doctor Strange bar and a Haunted Mansion-inspired parlour.
At the ship's recent float-out, the first time it touched water, the Destiny sounded its horn playing 'When You Wish Upon A Star' and revealed a 17-foot-long Spider-Man on its stern. Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, called the event 'a moment years in the making'.
Meanwhile, the Disney Adventure's maiden voyage, originally planned for December, has been delayed to March 2026 due to shipbuilding delays. The full list of discounted sailings is available on the Disney Cruise Line website.
