Disney Believe cruise ship: bars, restaurants and shows revealed

Disney Cruise Line has revealed more details about its new cruise ship, Disney Believe, including bars, restaurants and entertainment inspired by The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Snow White, Tangled and more. The ship will make its debut in December 2027 on itineraries around the Bahamas and Caribbean islands, with bookings opening on October 19.

Fourth Wish-class ship

The Believe is the fourth of the line's Wish class ships, following the Disney Wish, which will sail from the UK next summer. Popular favourites returning for the Believe include a Haunted Mansion themed bar and the Worlds of Marvel restaurant, alongside new experiences exclusive to the ship. Rooms will be themed around Moana, Coco and The Lion King, with 70% of staterooms boasting a balcony.

Themed bars and lounges

The ship will feature 'Sea Notes', a piano lounge inspired by Ariel's grotto, offering themed cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks with live piano music, and a pearlescent piano. A new Snow White inspired bar, the Wishing Well, will serve drinks inspired by potions from the Evil Queen, with activities, live music, stained glass art and a canopy of flowers. 'Skygazers' will be an observatory-themed pub, and the Haunted Mansion Parlour will include a creepy setting with paintings and themed cocktails.

Restaurants and dining

The Disney Believe will feature a Frozen-inspired restaurant, Oaken's Table: A Frozen Family Feast, with a live, immersive show while guests eat, featuring Oaken, Anna and Kristoff, and a live band playing renditions of Frozen songs. Other restaurants include 1923, paying tribute to the history of Walt Disney, and Worlds of Marvel, an interactive dining experience with Marvel superheroes. Disney cruises operate 'rotational dining', assigning guests a table at each restaurant at least once during the cruise. Adults-only dining includes Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement inspired by Beauty and the Beast, and the Rose, an adults-only lounge.

Entertainment and activities

Two brand new shows will debut on the Disney Believe: Tangled: The Musical, telling Rapunzel's story, and the first stage adaptation of Encanto. Other shows include 'Disney Seas the Adventure' featuring Disney and Pixar characters. Throughout the ship, there are character meet and greets, film showings, quizzes, bingo, silent discos, and fireworks at sea at evening deck parties. The AquaMouse, a 760ft-long water ride, transports riders into a Mickey Mouse animated short, featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse on 'Port Adventures' including 'Swiss Meltdown' and 'Sing a Silly Song'. Kids clubs for ages 3-17 include a new Monsters Inc themed entrance for the Oceaneers club (3-10), with dedicated zones for older kids. Bookings open on October 19, with more information available on disneycruise.disney.go.com.
