Brit in Benidorm hails £4.50 pint and full English breakfast combo

A pint and a full English breakfast for £4.50 in Benidorm has been hailed as one of the best-value combinations in the resort. The price is notably lower than the UK average cost of a pint alone, which stands at £5.01 in 2025.

Frequent visitor Grumet White, who shares tips on social media as @benidorm_grumet1, has praised Uncle Ron's as the place to go for a taste of home. He said: "We have been going to Uncle Ron's for years. The breakfast is one of the best in Benidorm, to be fair. If I go to McDonald's, it would cost more than a family of four in Uncle Ron's. It's not that, it's just really cheap - it's nice too."

His recommendation has been viewed more than 62,000 times, with many followers agreeing. One commented: "Decent breakfasts to be honest.. especially for the price." Another wrote: "Brekkie and a pint under a fiver is right, be rude not to." However, not everyone was convinced, with one viewer saying: "State of it," and another adding: "To sit in a non-air-conditioned garage conversion… No thanks."

Uncle Ron's also made headlines last year for its "belly buster" breakfast challenge. The 2,760-calorie meal, which costs €9 and includes four sausages, four bacon rashers, four fried eggs, four hash browns, four pieces of toast, six tomatoes, half a large tin of baked beans, ten mushrooms and two pieces of fried bread, has only a 3% success rate. Winners eat for free.

One challenger, Jo from Wales, was denied the prize after failing to clean his plate, leaving two pieces of toast and a slice of fried bread. A statement from Uncle Ron's insisted: "Rules are rules... It's not a win unless it's empty."
