Alton Towers Launches Hey Duggee Themed Hotel Stays

Alton Towers Introduces Hey Duggee Themed Accommodation for Families

Alton Towers Resort is set to launch a new series of Hey Duggee themed hotel stays later this year, offering families the chance to immerse themselves in the world of the beloved CBeebies show. From next week, parents and children can become honorary members of the Squirrel Club by booking a specially designed room at the vibrant CBeebies Land Hotel, located within the popular Staffordshire theme park.

Step Into Duggee's Clubhouse

The new accommodation options will feature meticulously crafted themed furniture and décor that replicates Duggee's iconic Clubhouse. Each room is designed to sleep up to five guests in standard configurations or up to seven in suite layouts, ensuring ample space for family groups. The setup includes a double bed for adults alongside a separate children's sleeping area equipped with bunk beds and an additional trundle bed.

Hey Duggee, narrated by the voice of Alexander Armstrong, has been a cornerstone of CBeebies programming since its debut in 2014, with over two hundred episodes produced to date. The show's enduring popularity among preschool audiences makes it a natural fit for the hotel's expanding roster of themed rooms, which already features designs inspired by other CBeebies favourites such as Bing, Something Special, and Bluey.

Immersive Experiences and Perks

Guests staying in the Hey Duggee rooms will be treated to an array of fun details and sensory games based on the series. Children can spot their favourite characters—including Betty, Happy, Norrie, Tag, and Roly—adorning the walls, bringing the animated world to life. The package also includes complimentary breakfast, free car parking, and a round of nine-hole golf for added value.

Hotel visitors have the option to purchase a two-day theme park ticket for £49, which represents a cost-effective per-day rate compared to standard admissions. Beyond the hotel, Hey Duggee enthusiasts can explore the Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge area within CBeebies Land. This dedicated zone comprises multiple sensory play areas where kids can engage in bouncing, climbing, and other immersive activities, culminating in the award of their very own Big Adventure Badge.

Live Shows and Character Meet-Ups

The park further enhances the experience with Hey Duggee Live performances in the Big Fun Showtime area. During these interactive shows, children participate in assembling clues to earn a Map Badge, fostering engagement and excitement. Additionally, young fans have the opportunity to meet the big dog himself and receive a memorable Duggee hug, creating lasting memories.

Expansion of CBeebies Land Offerings

The introduction of Hey Duggee rooms is part of a broader expansion at CBeebies Land and its associated hotel. On March 28, the resort will unveil the world's first Bluey-themed rollercoaster, titled Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies!. This family-friendly attraction promises gentle dips and turns, offering an ideal first rollercoaster experience for toddlers and young children. A teaser image hints at playful references to the Heeler family's adventures, with Bluey and Bingo dressed as grannies Janet and Rita.

In response to the growing popularity of the Australian cartoon dog, more Bluey-themed rooms are being added to the CBeebies Land Hotel. Similar to the Hey Duggee accommodations, these rooms will feature separate sleeping areas for children and are themed to resemble the Heeler family home, ensuring a cohesive and enchanting stay for all guests.

Families interested in booking a stay can visit the CBeebies Land Hotel website for more details and reservations. Day tickets to Alton Towers are available online, starting from £32 per day or £64 for an annual pass, providing flexible options for visitors seeking to explore the park's attractions.
