The main action runs from November 27 to December 24, featuring wooden chalets serving mulled wine, French cheese and baked goods, plus gifts and souvenirs. easyJet offers flights from £54 each way from London in early December.

Budapest, Hungary

Budapest's main Christmas markets on St. Stephen's Basilica and Vörösmarty Square open on November 13 and run until New Year's Eve. They offer over 100 festive stalls, a huge Christmas tree, light displays, and live performances from musicians to fire dancers. Flights with Ryanair start from £62 each way based on a Dec 8 departure, excluding extra hand luggage.

Prague, Czechia

Prague's markets in its Old Town run from November 28 to January 6, 2027, split across the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
