Two cruise operators have confirmed their 2027 schedules from Liverpool's Cruise Port, offering 21 trips that include a voyage timed for a solar eclipse. Fred Olsen and Ambassador will both sail from the port, with prices starting from £899 per person.
Destinations include the volcanic landscapes of the Azores, the Norwegian Fjords and the Canarian beaches, among other European locations. The trips range from five to 26 nights.
Fred Olsen's 2027 sailings
Fred Olsen has 15 departures scheduled across 2027, using the ships Bolette and Borealis. The season opens on January 5 with a 13-night Southern Spain Siesta from £2,989pp, visiting La Coruna, Cadiz, Malaga, Gibraltar and Vigo.
January 18 sees a 14-night Canary Islands & Madeira Winter Warmth cruise from £1,599pp, calling at Matosinhos, Funchal, Santa Cruz De La Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas and Vigo. A 19-night Discovering North Africa & Malta trip departs February 1 from £2,749pp, with stops including Tangier, Gibraltar, Algiers, Valetta and Cagliari.
Spring and summer highlights
May 14 features a 14-night Volcanos & Whales of The Remote Azores cruise from £1,899pp, visiting Praia Da Vitoria, Ponta Delgada, Funchal and Matosinhos. A six-night Remote Isles of Scotland sailing departs May 28 from £899pp, passing Duart Castle, Loch Hourn, Ullapool, Lerwick and Fingal's Cave.
June 3 offers a 17-night South of France & Corsica voyage from £2,299pp, with ports including Malaga, Ajaccio, Villefranche and Toulon. A six-night Cultural Charm of Ireland cruise departs June 20 from £899pp, visiting Cobh, Galway and Killybegs.
Solar eclipse and autumn voyages
July 27 features a 14-night Volcanic Azores & The Solar Eclipse cruise from £2,199pp, with the eclipse observed between Lisbon and Madeira. Other summer sailings include a nine-night Whales & Wonders of Iceland trip from August 10 at £1,899pp, and a five-night Scottish Isles Bank Holiday Break from August 28 at £899pp.
September brings a 16-night Cultural Mediterranean with The Amalfi Coast cruise from £2,499pp, an Autumn Fjords of Norway voyage from £1,249pp, and a 26-night Adriatic Discovery with Croatia trip from £4,439pp, which visits Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor and Bari.
Ambassador's 2027 schedule
Ambassador has six departures on the ship Ambition. May 12 offers a 12-night Classic French Escapes cruise from £1,322pp, visiting Brest, Bordeaux, Cherbourg and Honfleur. A Fjordland Escapes & Nordic Traditions voyage departs May 24 from £1,253pp, with calls at Geiranger, Alesund, Maloy and Flam.
June 4 features an eight-night Springtime Shores cruise from £2,979pp, visiting Stornoway, Scrabster, Lerwick and Douglas.
