Families have just a handful of weeks to take advantage of a major deal that could see them visit Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, Sea Life and Cadbury World while saving money in the process. Ahead of half-term, Merlin is offering visitors the opportunity to receive entry to the four popular sites at a whopping 63% discount.
Currently, visitors can get their hands on the Midlands Adventure Pass for just £49, but there isn't much time left to take advantage of it before it runs out. According to Merlin, the deal is available until October 22 of this year, leaving just a handful of weeks left to enjoy a variety of family-fun experiences.
What the pass includes
All in all, the ticket provides one visit to the above-mentioned experiences, which can save you a significant amount if you were to otherwise purchase an individual ticket to each site every time you visit in the coming weeks. Despite the deal ending soon, those who plan on visiting Alton Towers in the coming months can also take advantage of another deal.
Shoppers have the opportunity to get their hands on the Alton Towers Annual Pass right now for £64 per year. This pass provides 12 months of access to Alton Towers, letting you visit as many times as you like and ensuring you get the most bang for your buck.
Seasonal events and stays
The theme park is open for the main season from March to November, with a variety of seasonal events in between. With the annual pass, you also get access to live entertainment and special events, such as the Halloween-themed Scarefest.
If you would rather something a little different, you could instead book a stay at Chessington World of Adventures Resort from £73 per person. Your stay could include an overnight visit, free breakfast, free car parking, and one day access of the theme park and zoo.
Visitor experiences
If you've got a much younger family, you could instead opt to stay at Peppa Pig World, which is offering toddler breaks from £177 per family. This includes an overnight stay at one of the available hotels, breakfast, and two days of park entry for the price of one.
Many people who stayed at Alton Towers Resort enjoyed their experience, with one traveller writing: "We had a great trip. We got a few fast passes for CBBies Land, which were well priced, but there was so much to do you don't have to get the fast passes."
"We will have to return as we didn't see any shows which looked great, and the kids loved just playing in the park. Make use of the app to check queue times, and as we stayed on site, we made use of the early morning entry to get on Wicker Man, which seemed to have the longest queue, but understandable as it's a great ride."
Another added: "Really surprised how great it was. Clean location, friendly staff. Will definitely be going back next year."
While a third said: "Had an absolutely amazing weekend at Alton Towers. We had booked to stay at the Alton Towers resort in a family room. Got a call when we arrived, offering us a complimentary upgrade to a treehouse with a few fast passes for the park. I was absolutely amazed and felt very lucky. A fifth said: "Rides are amazing, food is not bad, and the theming of the rides are amazing also, especially Wicker Man, Smiler, and Nemesis Reborn!"
However, there were some issues pointed out by other customers, with one writing: "Came recently and was good fun! Pricey, but the rides were all ok and good. Went out of season so shorter queue times."
Another added: "Great theme park with amazing rides. Wait time isn't great, but that's expected I guess. I will definitely be returning."
