Sky has launched a new feature just in time for the start of the Premier League season. The Premier League kicks off this weekend, and there is good news for football fans not wanting to miss any of the on-pitch action. Sky has confirmed the launch of a free update called 'Your Multiview,' which allows customers to watch up to four live Sky Sports events simultaneously on one screen.
How Your Multiview Works
When kick-off begins, viewers can watch a live match while still keeping an eye on scores or checking out other sports such as Formula One or golfing action at the same time. The new feature also allows viewers to spotlight an event to change the on-screen layout, select the audio they want to hear, and switch any event to full screen when it is the one they do not want to miss.
“On busy sporting weekends, ‘Your Multiview’ lets fans choose up to four live Sky Sports events and watch them side by side on a single screen,” Sky explained.
More Ways to Follow Football
The TV firm also says it is introducing more ways for football fans to keep up with the games, teams, and best moments. A total of 1,500 matches are being shown on the platform this season, with Sky boasting that fans will be able to follow multiple games, check the latest scores and tables, follow a favourite team, and catch up on the biggest talking points, all through their TV screens.
Speaking about the change, Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, said: “There’s more live sport for fans to enjoy than ever, and we want to make it as easy as possible to follow all the action. With ‘Your Multiview’, viewers no longer have to choose between the biggest moments happening across multiple channels. It could be two exciting football matches happening at the same time, or Super Sunday coinciding with a Grand Prix and the final day of a golf Major.
“Only on Sky can fans enjoy so much sport together on one screen and stay in control of what they watch. Along with scores, stats, and clips at the touch of a button, this is another way we’re making Sky the best place to watch live sport.”
