reMarkable has knocked £100 off bundles including their Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move devices, with the offer running from Thursday, August 20, until Tuesday, September 1. Professionals and students can save £100 on selected bundles, which include the device, folio and marker.
The tablets have been designed to 'combine the benefits of paper with the convenience of digital technology'. Users have praised the tablets for providing a 'distraction-free space for note-taking, reading and organising ideas', unlike traditional tablets or laptops that come with distractions from social media, notifications or other apps.
Bundle pricing and features
Among those discounted is the Paper Pro New bundle, reduced from £699 to £599, which comes with a premium marker and a standard folio. For those who want to upgrade to the premium folio, the bundle has dropped from £729 to £629, while the bundle with the type folio is now £669, instead of £769.
The reMarkable Paper Pro features an 11.8-inch colour display and adjustable reading light, making it easy to annotate documents, colour-code notes and highlight documents in any environment. It delivers up to two weeks of battery life.
For those looking at the Paper Pro Move, it offers the same distraction-free experience in a pocket-sized 7.3-inch format designed for people on the go, with a battery that lasts up to two weeks on a single charge. The Paper Pro Move, with a premium marker and standard folio, is reduced from £499 to £399, while the bundle featuring the premium folio is now £429, instead of £529.
Customer feedback and alternatives
Both the Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move help users keep notes, documents and ideas organised in one place, and can be linked with systems including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Slack, making it easy to access files and stay connected to existing workflows.
Alternatives include the Apple iPad 2025 11 Inch available from Argos for £429, and the Amazon Kindle Scribe (64GB) costing £429.99. However, the reMarkable Paper Pro has been rated highly by customers, including Reach PLC's director of growth, David Bartlett, who said it 'really does feel like writing on paper'.
Bartlett said: "Being able to write on a tablet that feels the same as paper is quite a bold claim to make. In the case of the reMarkable Paper Pro it genuinely is the case. I was surprised in fact just how similar it is to writing on paper - the sound, the feel, the way the words appear. It is all there..."
He added: "The surface of the Paper Pro is smooth and doesn't smudge with your fingers like a tablet with a glossy screen. It's noticeably heavier than a traditional paper notebook, it is literally the opposite of a flimsy throw away notebook and this feels reassuring."
Posting on reMarkable's website, Eric posted: "This is pretty amazing and got rid of all of the pads of paper around my office. I can add sheets and cluster customer notes so easily with this! Backing up to the cloud is also really cool should anything happen, I have a backup in the cloud."
Paul commented: "Bought one for my wife who is a writer and publisher. She absolutely loves it. Website is dead easy to use. Postage is real fast. Get yourself or your loved one a ReMarkable."
However one shopper wrote: "Cannot see the value at this price. I tried it but what does it really do over just keeping notes on my MacBook? Pretty disappointed and unfortunately will be returning it."
Another happy customer added: "I am so happy I finally bought the reMarkable. It is a game changer in every possible manner and on so many levels. I started a degree in psychology, and the ease of taking notes and sharing them is unparalleled. A wonderful, useful and elegant device, a must have for students nowadays, in my opinion."
