The 21-year-old Czech Republic U20 international has yet to make a senior appearance for the Red Devils since joining from Sigma Olomouc six years ago, spending time on loan at Accrington Stanley, FC Blau-Weiß Linz, and Bristol City.

New Rangers boss Derek McInnes currently has two experienced shot-stoppers in Jack Butland and Liam Kelly, but speculation suggests the club is seeking additional depth. Reports from England claim Rangers are willing to offer Butland in a swap deal with Hull City for Croatian keeper Ivor Pandur, who is valued at around £10 million. Palermo's Sebastiano Desplanches has also emerged as a target.
Vitek has attracted interest from several clubs, including Premier League newcomers Coventry City and Ipswich Town. A move to Rangers could provide him with first-team opportunities.

Meanwhile, Excelsior technical director Mark Ruijl has admitted they anticipate a bidding war for Swedish defender Casper Widell, who has been linked with Rangers. Ruijl told AD: "It's quiet right now—partly due to the World Cup—but a club will certainly come along for Widell and Sanches Fernandes. I do expect some movement there."
