While Amazon has not disclosed the full list of deals, previous Prime Day events have featured significant savings on brands such as Dyson, Shark, Xbox, Ninja, and Oral-B. Shoppers can expect discounts on items like Ghd straighteners, Apple headphones, Oura rings, and robot vacuums, based on historical trends.
Amazon has teased deals on 'top brands, trending products, and items exclusive to Amazon'. The event will also include offers on Amazon's own devices, such as Kindle ereaders and Echo Dot smart speakers. In previous sales, high-end skincare like Elizabeth Arden's retinol has been heavily reduced, along with gadgets like the Fire HD 8 kids' tablet.
Prime Day is reserved for Prime members, but non-subscribers can sign up for a 30-day free trial to access the discounts. The trial also includes benefits like next-day delivery and Prime Video streaming. Early deals are already available, including £50 off Dyson's bladeless tower fan and over 30% off a PS5 DualSense controller.
Amazon Prime Day typically occurs twice a year: once in summer and again in October as the Prime Big Deal Days sale. This year's June event is expected to be one of the earliest, providing an opportunity for summer upgrades before the peak season.
