Nintendo has launched a limited-time promotion offering two free months of Nintendo Switch Online membership to players who purchase or actively extend a 12-month subscription. The deal is available until Tuesday, June 30, and applies to both individual and family plans, including the NSO + Expansion Pack tier.
How to Claim the Two Free Months
To qualify for the bonus, purchases must be made directly through the Nintendo eShop or the official Nintendo website. The offer excludes membership bought via gift cards, codes from console bundles, and automatic renewals. Nintendo confirmed that only new subscriptions or manual extensions of existing 12-month memberships are eligible.

The promotion covers standard Nintendo Switch Online and the Expansion Pack for both individual and family accounts. According to Nintendo, the two extra months are added automatically upon purchase or extension. Players are advised to act quickly as the offer ends on June 30.

Nintendo Switch Online enables online multiplayer for supported titles such as Mario Kart World, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Splatoon 3. Subscribers also gain access to over 190 classic games from NES, SNES, and Game Boy libraries, including Super Mario Bros. 3 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Additional benefits include the Nintendo Music app, exclusive multiplayer games like Tetris 99 and F-Zero 99, game trials, and access to subscription-only merchandise such as retro-style controllers. For Nintendo Switch 2 owners, an exclusive feature is GameChat, which allows voice communication, real-time screen sharing, and friend reactions via a compatible USB-C camera.
NSO Expansion Pack Perks
The Expansion Pack includes all standard benefits plus a growing library of Nintendo 64, Sega Mega Drive, and Game Boy Advance games. Switch 2 owners can also play classic GameCube titles. Selected DLC, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons expansions, is available at no extra cost. An individual Nintendo Switch Online membership costs £17.99 per year (about £1.50 per month). The Expansion Pack is £34.99 annually (around £2.92 per month). Family memberships, covering up to eight accounts, are priced at £31.49 for standard NSO and £59.99 for the Expansion Pack.
