Marvel Tokon Delayed: FlexStrike Fight Stick Pushed Back
Marvel Tokon Fight Stick Delayed, Pre-Orders Affected

Sony has announced a delay for the FlexStrike wireless fight stick, a peripheral designed to accompany the upcoming tag-team fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Originally scheduled to launch alongside the game on August 6, the fight stick is now postponed indefinitely due to what Sony describes as “unexpected production delays.”

Delay Announcement and Official Statement

In a blog post, Sony explained the reasoning behind the delay: “We’re working to ensure we deliver the best possible experience to our players with FlexStrike, so we’re taking extra time to put the finishing touches on the product.” The company apologized for the inconvenience and expressed commitment to bringing the FlexStrike experience to the community at a later date.

Customers who pre-ordered through PlayStation Direct are advised to check their order status on the website. For those who ordered through other retailers, Sony recommends contacting the retailer directly for updates.

Product Details and Pricing

The FlexStrike wireless fight stick, priced at £179.99, is compatible with PS5 and PC. It features a sling carry case and a built-in rechargeable battery, designed for competitive play and portability. The delay comes less than a month before the game’s launch, disappointing fans who anticipated using the stick from day one.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Game Information

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a brand new tag-team fighting game, remains on track for its August 6 release. The game launches with 20 characters, including Captain America, Storm, Iron Man, and Doctor Doom, with additional characters promised in future updates. It features tag-team synergies and combos, dynamic stages, and support for up to 64 players in online lobbies.

This delay adds to recent challenges for Sony, following the announcement that it will ditch game discs in early 2028.
