Carrick's search for attacking depth has led United into a fight with Everton for Bologna forward Jonathan Rowe. The 23-year-old former England U21 international, who can play on either wing, has impressed in Serie A since joining from Marseille. Bologna are seeking around £35m for the player, who scored the winning goal for England in the 2025 European Under-21 Championship final against Germany.
