Early Access Details

The premium edition, available digitally for £69.99, grants up to five days early access, allowing play from Thursday, July 23. It also includes an Alpha Halo Armory Pack (five Master Chief skins and six weapon skins), a digital artbook, and the short story Halo: Hungry Buzzards.

Multiplayer and Co-Op

Halo: Campaign Evolved supports two-player split-screen co-op on consoles and up to four-player online co-op with crossplay and cross-progression. However, it does not include competitive multiplayer modes. Executive producer Damon Conn explained: 'We wanted to start where it all began, with the original campaign that defined Halo. Focusing on the campaign experience means we can concentrate fully on really capturing the atmosphere, tone – the emotional impact of what made the first campaign so special and iconic.'

Future of Halo

Microsoft has confirmed multiple Halo titles in development using Unreal Engine 5, with one being Halo: Campaign Evolved. A successor to Halo Infinite is likely among them, but release timelines remain uncertain following recent Xbox layoffs.
