Nine of the ten highest-rated PC games of 2025, based on Metacritic scores, are currently heavily discounted in the Steam Summer Sale. The sale, which ends on July 9, offers savings of up to 40% on critically acclaimed titles including Hades 2, Blue Prince, and Clair Obscur Expedition 33.
Hades 2 Leads the Discounts
Hades 2, the highest-rated PC game of 2025 with a Metacritic score of 94%, is reduced by 30% to £17.49. The action-packed rogue-like from Supergiant Games launched in full last year and has been a fan favourite.
Blue Prince and Other Top Titles
The third highest-rated game of 2025, Blue Prince, is discounted by 40% to just £13.49. Described as one of the most inventive games ever played, Blue Prince challenges players to navigate an ever-changing mansion that resets daily, placing rooms and solving puzzles to reach a secret room.
Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which holds a Metacritic score of 91% and won numerous game of the year awards, is also included in the sale. Other top games from 2025, such as Hollow Knight Silksong, are reduced as well.
