Surrey family offers £50k to dog-loving housekeeper for estate and pet care

A wealthy family in Chobham, Surrey, is advertising a full-time housekeeper role with a salary of up to £50,000, with the care of their two dogs a central part of the job. The position combines traditional housekeeping with household PA duties, and requires someone comfortable with daily dog care, including walking and feeding.

The 40-hour-a-week role, running Monday to Friday, is due to start in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of a large family home, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing and wardrobe management. When the family is away, the housekeeper will also be expected to look after the property and the dogs.

Driving is a key requirement, as the role includes running errands, organising the MOT and servicing of the family car, and providing transport for the family's four children, aged 12 to 22, particularly during school holidays. Additional duties include helping with holiday research and bookings, light gardening, and coordinating with external gardeners.

Applicants must have fluent English, the right to work in the UK, and strong driving experience. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves house-sitting and adapting to changes in routine.

The position offers a 'long-term, stable role within a lovely family', with a car provided for use on duty and opportunity for the role to develop over time. Interested candidates are invited to send their CV to Home Organisers.
