A woman shopping at a Goodwill store was stunned to find a wad of cash tucked inside the pocket of a jacket she tried on. The discovery, shared on TikTok, quickly drew attention from viewers.
Unexpected Discovery at Goodwill
The bargain hunter, known as Not Nic on TikTok, said she was browsing her local Goodwill when she spotted a jacket that suited her "foresty aesthetic." Curious about the fit, she slipped her hands into the pockets and pulled out a handful of cash notes instead of loose change.
Filming from the Goodwill car park, she said: "I'm freaking out right now. I went to Goodwill, and I have some stuff here. The greens and the browns. I'm going for a very foresty aesthetic. I pick up this jacket. This is like a really cool jacket. I'm like, let me just try it on because I like the oversized look, but I feel like sometimes the oversized look makes me look weird."
Counting the Cash
After putting the jacket on, she began rummaging through the pockets and discovered the hidden money. Initially, she assumed it might be a small amount and decided to buy the jacket anyway.
She said: "I was like, I don't even care anymore. I'm going to buy this jacket just so I can see the money. Because maybe it's like a dollar."
As she counted, she realized the sum was larger than expected. She said: "No, there's £100 ($135) in here, because there's the little, the shiny reflective thing. I don't know what it's called. I wanted to see how much. It's £100 ($135). Oh my God."
She then questioned her count, adding: "Oh no, I actually think it might be £1,000 ($1,350)."

Unsure what to do next, she wondered whether keeping the money could cause trouble. She said: "Is this illegal? Like, am I gonna get in trouble? Like, look how much money it is. This is a lot of money. What do I do? What do I do? Oh my God, I'm freaking out."
She decided to secure the cash in a safe place while she figured out her next step. Addressing her followers, she said: "I do need to go to Aldi. Let me know what I should do while I'm grocery shopping, cause I'm actually freaking out right now."
Despite the surprise, she noted: "But, this jacket is really cute."
