A Vinted seller has shared three types of fabric to look for in charity shops to maximise resale profit. Laura, known as Laura Resells on TikTok, advises checking fabric labels for linen, silk, and 100% cotton items, which she says sell particularly well during spring and summer.
Linen is described as a breathable, lightweight fabric that 'flies out' on resale platforms like Vinted, eBay, and Depop. Laura recommends picking up linen shirts, dresses, and shorts. Silk, though harder to find, commands higher prices and is hypoallergenic, making it popular with allergy sufferers.
Cotton items should be 100% cotton or organic cotton; dresses and T-shirts in this fabric 'fly in the summer'. The tips have been well-received, with viewers appreciating the guidance. Other high-demand summer items include floral midi dresses, gingham prints, pastels, beachwear, and festival clothing.
