Uniqlo is bringing its Irn-Bru collaboration to Scottish stores this week, with the new collection available from Friday, August 7. The Japanese fashion giant will offer its customisation service at both Scottish branches, including the Glasgow store for the first time.
Collection Details
The collection, described by Uniqlo as paying tribute to IRN-BRU's Scottish heritage, allows customers to personalise fan-favourite items with playful Irn-Bru motifs. Embroidery on items such as the Mini Round Shoulder Bag will cost £12.90, while limited-edition UTme! T-shirts, priced at £19.90, will be available for the first time.
Scottish Locations
The customisation service will be available at Uniqlo's Edinburgh Princes Street and Glasgow Argyle Street stores. The Glasgow location will offer the service for the first time, marking a significant expansion for the brand in Scotland.
Partnership History
Uniqlo has partnered with Irn-Bru since opening its flagship Edinburgh store in April 2024, which spans 1,400 sq. ft and includes a Japanese tearoom. The new collaboration builds on last year's successful partnership. Uniqlo also partnered with Tunnocks for the Glasgow store opening, allowing shoppers to personalise items with Tea Cakes and Caramel Wafers motifs.
Brand Expansion
Founded in 1984, Uniqlo operates over 2,000 stores across 26 countries, with most in Japan. It entered the UK in 2001 and now runs 24 stores nationwide, including in Birmingham, Liverpool, and Bristol. The Scottish stores have drawn large queues from excited fashion fans.
