Wingstop opened its largest UK restaurant at Manchester Arndale on Friday, June 26, drawing huge queues as the American fast food chain celebrated with DJ sets and freebies. The first 100 customers through the door received free chicken wings or boneless tenders, marking the chain's fourth Manchester location in a former Yo Sushi unit.
New Location Details
The 5,928 sq ft restaurant, located in the upper-mall curved unit by the Corporation Street entrance, operates on a five-year lease. Yo Sushi vacated the spot in January after 15 years. The 147-cover venue serves Wingstop's full menu, including wings, tenders, burgers, and sides, with flavors like Hickory Smoked BBQ, Hawaiian, and fan-favorite Lemon Pepper. A limited-time addition, Big Ranch, is also available.

Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UKI, said: "Opening at Manchester Arndale is a huge milestone for Wingstop UK as we continue to expand in some of the country’s most exciting locations. The demand from our fans in Manchester has been incredible, and we’re looking forward to bringing even more of the flavour, energy and atmosphere that makes Wingstop special to the heart of the city with this landmark flagship restaurant."
