Trinny London has launched the Take Back Time Overnight Hand Transformation, a two-piece anti-ageing set designed to tackle the visible signs of ageing on hands. The brand says the set, which costs £69, is clinically proven to reverse signs of ageing in four weeks.
The set contains a hand concentrate and a 0.5mm microneedle. The microneedle creates tiny channels to help amplify the results of the concentrate when applied to the hands. To use, people should rest their hand flat, roll the microneedle back and forth lightly, apply two pumps of the concentrate and massage until absorbed.
How to use the skincare set
Trinny London recommends using the hand concentrate daily and the microneedle three times a week on alternate nights. They also suggest taking at least a one month break after every eight weeks of microneedling to give skin the opportunity to rest. A complimentary microneedle cleaner spray is included in the £69 set.
The routine is more complicated than a typical hand cream, which some people may find too time consuming. The Trinny London Take Back Time Concentrate helps to restore lost volume with L-ornithine lipo-complex to plump skin and add fullness. Deep-delivery alpha arbutin and bio-retinoid help clear dark spots for a more even tone, and C-17 signal peptides help reverse and smooth crepey texture.
Trinny London ran a 12 week clinical study of 32 women aged 45 to 70 and in four weeks they reported lost hand volume restored, reduced appearance of prominent veins, reduced dark spots and reduced appearance of crepey, papery skin.
