Survey Reveals Widespread Intimate Dryness
A survey of 2,000 women conducted by wellness brand NAYDAYA found that 83% have experienced intimate dryness at some point in their lives. The research also uncovered that many women suffer in silence due to stigma, preventing them from discussing the issue with friends, family, or even their GP.
Consultant gynaecologist Dr Pavan Mihas commented: "Women can go through intimate dryness at various stages in their lives. Because there's so much taboo around these topics, it's inhibiting women from seeking help and it has a massive impact on both physical health and psychological wellbeing."
