Timberland clogs praised as 'perfect' for all-day comfort

Timberland's Premium Convertible Clogs for Women, priced at £120, are earning praise from shoppers who describe them as 'very comfortable' and 'super quality', with one five-star reviewer noting they can walk in them all day without foot fatigue.

The clogs, available in three colourways (yellow-tan brown, burgundy, and suede grey) and sizes 2.5 to 9, are crafted from Premium Timberland leather and feature a ReBOTL fabric lining containing 50% recycled PET plastic. They also include an anti-fatigue removable footbed, described by the brand as a comfort system adopted from Timberland PRO, designed with shock-absorbing, geometrical technology that returns energy to the foot for all-day support.

Design and versatility

The design echoes the brand's iconic Stone Street Platform 6-Inch Waterproof Boots (£170), with a soft yet durable yellow leather upper and rugged lug outsole. Though lacking laces, the clogs feature a darker trim around the footbed and an adjustable ankle strap that can be worn around the ankle for support or flipped forward for a slider-style fit.

This versatility makes them suitable for warmer weather paired with jorts, shorts, lightweight jumpers, and tube socks, or for cooler temperatures with barrel jeans, chunky jumpers, and gilets. They are positioned as an alternative to styles like the Dr Martens Zebzag Suede Casual Slingback Platform Mules (now £92, down from £115) and the Birkenstock Boston Clog (£110, down from £140 at Office Shoes).

Shopper feedback and sizing advice

While many reviewers praise the clogs' comfort and quality, some have noted sizing considerations. One five-star reviewer said: “Lovely clogs. Fit seems true to size. Comfortable.” Another added: “Well finished product, good quality leather and looks sturdy. They are very elegant for [clogs]. I'm wearing size 37 EU, but it was too tight. I had to take size 38 to be more comfortable and wear them with socks.”

A four-star review mentioned the shoes can feel snug in overall inside height, advising: “The shoe is great quality, but given a 4 as they're slightly tight, not in width nor length, but in the overall inside height, which is snug. Otherwise, a great shoe, and hopefully I can stretch out. I'd still recommend, just get a slightly bigger size.” One user also described the sole as 'heavy', saying: “Definitely has a heavy sole, so I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a lightweight clog.”

Despite minor gripes, many shoppers are enthusiastic. One reviewer concluded: “I can walk in these all day and my feet still feel great... They're super comfortable right out of the box, and I love that I can wear them as a slip-on or with the strap up. They look great with everything.” Another called them “the perfect mix of Crocs meets Tims — super easy slip-on comfort like Crocs but with that iconic Timberland premium leather look and quality.”

The shoes are available now at Timberland.
