The Entertainer launches first loyalty scheme with 10% off

The Entertainer, one of the UK's largest toy shop chains, has launched its first ever loyalty programme, The Entertainer Rewards, offering members a 10% welcome discount in-store and online from today (Friday August 28).

Launch details and welcome offer

The loyalty scheme went live on Thursday August 27. Shoppers who sign up between Friday August 28 and Wednesday September 9 will receive a 10% discount to spend in-store or online. New members who join in-store before September 9 can use the 10% welcome discount at the checkout till on the same day.

There is no minimum spend limit for the discount, but the offer cannot be redeemed against Pokémon TCG products or gift cards.

Member perks and birthday benefits

Members will also receive a 20% in-store discount or 10% online discount during their birthday month. Additional perks include early access to selected seasonal toy sales, Black Friday promotions and Christmas campaigns, plus exclusive member offers.

The loyalty programme forms part of The Entertainer's wider strategy to strengthen customer relationships and provide greater value to its growing shopper base.

Company background

The Entertainer was founded in 1981 by Gary and Catherine Grant when it opened a toy shop in Amersham, England. The online toy shop launched in 1999. The chain now operates 160 The Entertainer stores across the UK, with a further 2,719 The Entertainer-branded concessions inside Tesco stores.

In 2019, the brand acquired Early Learning Centre stores, which launched in Marks & Spencer in 2022. More than 7,000 products are available to shop online, with products for people of all ages, from babies to grown-ups.
