Tesco shoppers are rushing to stores to get their hands on a new Asian snack range from Japan, Korea, and China, featuring Pocky-style sticks, Oreo varieties, mochi, and crisps.
New Snack Range Details
Jonny Adams from Supermarket Reviews and Deals on Facebook shared a video of the treats he found at his local Tesco. The range includes stick chocolate snacks similar to Pocky in blueberry, matcha, and popping candy flavours. There are also cotton candy packets in watermelon and strawberry flavours.
Oreo varieties include Blueberry Raspberry with a dual-flavoured cream centre split into purple and pink layers, and a matcha-flavoured Oreo. Chocolate, lychee, and strawberry mochi balls are also available.
Crisps and Other Snacks
Crisps include hot and spicy varieties with an adorable mascot, Asian-style chips in barbecue and umami salt flavours, and seaweed and salt ones. Takoyaki ball Japanese-style corn puffs are also on offer, inspired by the iconic Osaka street food.
Mini mochi sweets in various flavours come with mascots on the packaging.
