News Food UK, an Instagram account with 370,000 followers, announced the product: 'Brand new Mint Club McVitie's Digestive Biscuits spotted at Tesco.' Fans flooded the comments, with one saying 'I'm excited to try this' and another tagging a friend and adding 'Please get me this.' On Facebook, users called the biscuits an absolute 'game-changer,' with comments like 'I need these.'
Product Details and Price
The biscuits are the latest addition to the Digestives family, described as perfect for 'relaxation and enjoyment.' A 266g pack costs £2.25, or £1.85 for Tesco Clubcard holders. Each biscuit contains 38 calories, 4.8g sugar, and 3.9g of fat. Tesco's product description notes that McVitie's created the Nation's Favourite biscuit, the Milk Chocolate Digestive, in 1925, and this limited edition celebrates a century of the treat.
