Super Power Toys and Collectibles, a brand described as 'pure nostalgia' and in demand globally, is set to open a new store at the Metrocentre in Gateshead. The company, which currently operates from Bishop Auckland in County Durham, has taken on premises at the popular shopping destination, with an opening date yet to be confirmed.
Expansion from County Durham to Gateshead
The retailer specialises in WWE Elite and AEW wrestling figure collectibles, as well as a vast collection of Star Wars, Marvel, DC and other movie collectibles. Started for UK wrestling figure collectors in the North East, Super Power now serves customers worldwide and claims to be the number one online retailer in the UK for the newest and hottest wrestling figures and movie collectables.
Metrocentre's growing retail lineup
The news follows a busy year for the Metrocentre, which has welcomed major brands like Hollister, a new flagship New Look store, and upcoming openings including Lefties and Burshka. The centre has also launched a new area called The Crescent, which already hosts businesses such as award-winning café Filto and high-end barbers Webster & Carr.
Super Power's online bio states: 'We are fast becoming the industry leader in the UK for WWE and AEW wrestling figures and movie collectables and have plans for stores in major cities such as Manchester, Newcastle, and London.'
'Simply put, we're here to help you super charge your collection! We know how hard it can be to find the latest, brand new WWE elite, Star Wars, Marvel, and other movie collectables in your local stores. That's why we strive to provide you with the best possible shopping experience on the web and eventually in a city or town near you.'
