Space NK will open its doors at Lakeside Shopping Centre on Friday, August 14, marking its 77th store in the UK and Ireland. The British beauty retailer stocks some of the world's most sought-after beauty brands, and its new store promises skincare, make-up, fragrance, haircare and body care products.
Location and Offerings
Located in Essex, Lakeside Shopping Centre is one of the largest of its kind in the UK and already houses more than 200 shops. Its other health and beauty stores include Beauty Base, Boots and H Beauty. Space NK says its Lakeside store will be home to some of the beauty industry's biggest names, including Rare Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Drunk Elephant, Hourglass and Tatcha.
The chain was founded by Nicky Kinnaird, with the first store opening in Neal's Yard in 1993.
Opening Day Events
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10am at the new store before the store officially opens to the public. Shoppers can then look forward to a host of exclusive opening-day rewards.
The first 100 customers to make a purchase using an opening-day wristband will receive a complimentary beauty gift, while the first 200 shoppers spending £100 or more will receive an additional premium beauty surprise. Meanwhile, customers spending £30 or more on opening day will also be able to choose a complimentary product from an exclusive Pick & Mix.
Additionally, Space NK will also partner with Chocofay to offer a Chocolate Fountain outside of store and offering customers leaving the store Chocolate and Strawberries.
