Shoppers rush for new Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J bar

A limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk PB&J chocolate bar, imported from Australia, has been spotted in Home Bargains, prompting shoppers to rush to stores to secure one before supplies run out.

The 170g block reimagines the classic American peanut butter and jelly sandwich in milk chocolate form. Instead of bread, the bar combines smooth Dairy Milk chocolate with peanut-flavoured crème, crunchy peanut pieces, and raspberry-flavoured jelly.

Limited availability and origins

The bar is a limited edition, though there is no confirmation of how long it will remain available. It is an imported product, officially produced by Cadbury Australia and made at the company's Tasmanian factory.

Because it is a limited release, enthusiasts may want to act quickly, and if it proves popular, now could be the time to stock up for the festive season.

Shopper reactions and alternatives

Reactions to the new flavour have been mixed. In the comments section of a Facebook post about the bar, one person remarked: "It's a bit heavy on the jam for me, needs more peanut." Another commented: "I didn't read the wrapper right. I thought it was peanut butter and jam, but nooooo. Peanuts and jam."

One shopper also highlighted that this chocolate bar can be found in B&M as well, which frequently stocks Dairy Milk imports. A third contributor noted: "Morrisons do their own chocolate, same as this, for £2," following complaints from some that the Dairy Milk variant lacked sufficient peanut butter flavour.

Morrisons does stock its own take on the bar, should shoppers wish to sample that alternative, though it is also a limited edition release, meaning it is uncertain how long it will remain available.

Not everyone was impressed with the flavour, with some describing it as "yucky," while others declared they "needed" to sample it "immediately" in the comments.
