Shandy Shack's sales data has revealed a 'Shandy Strip' running from London and Oxford through Bristol and up towards Manchester, with these cities crowned among the UK's biggest shandy hotspots.

The UK's top 10 shandy-loving cities are London, Bristol, Reading, Manchester, Oxford, Southampton, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Liverpool and Salisbury.
The results come as shandy enjoys an unexpected revival, with changing drinking habits, the rise of 'newstalgia' and growing interest in lighter, sessionable drinks bringing the much-loved British serve back into the spotlight.
Record sales and rising searches
With pub gardens, BBQs, festivals, football and long afternoons with friends all on the Bank Holiday agenda, Shandy Shack has given the old favourite a modern makeover. The company has recorded its three biggest-ever sales days in the last three months, while Google Trends data shows searches for 'shandy' are up 150% over the past three months compared with the previous three months.
The resurgence of shandy reflects a wider cultural trend towards 'newstalgia': the rediscovery of familiar favourites from the past, but with a contemporary twist.
Modern flavour combinations
Shandy Shack's range all comes in at 2.5% ABV, with four flavour combinations designed to bring the classic serve into the 21st century: Elderflower Shandy with Lager, Raspberry Shandy with Lager, Lemon Shandy with IPA, and Ginger Beer Shandy with Pale Ale.
