Redheads, the renowned mac 'n' cheese business from Newcastle's Grainger Market, has opened a new kiosk at Manor Walks shopping centre in Cramlington, Northumberland. The new location is now open daily from 12pm to 9pm.
The business, a staple of many people's lunchtimes and weekends for years, offers a range of mac 'n' cheese options, from the classic version to added ingredients like chorizo or the festive pigs in blankets special. Redheads have also been regulars at Newcastle Christmas Market, where they are often identified by the long queue of customers waiting for their food.
Leeds Festival success
Over the weekend, Redheads drew huge queues at Leeds Festival, where they served their sought-after mac 'n' cheese to event-goers. Despite the typical British Bank Holiday weather, big queues were spotted at the Redheads van throughout the event.
They have also taken their food to events outside the region, with no shortage of takers at Leeds Festival.
