Primark has entered the K-beauty market with a new 'glass skin' range, with every product priced under £5. The collection, developed and manufactured in Korea, aims to make the trending Korean skincare philosophy accessible on the high street.
The 'glass skin' trend, originating in South Korea, focuses on achieving deeply hydrated, poreless, and luminous skin through gentle layering and long-term skin health. Primark's range simplifies the traditional multi-step routine into five products, including a gel moisturiser.
According to Primark's expert Sue McCrave, the look is about 'healthy skin function' rather than heavy coverage. The formulations prioritise ingredients that support hydration, barrier strength, and surface smoothness, developed with specialist formulators.
Primark has indicated that K-beauty will be a key pillar in its beauty offering, with more products expected in the coming months. The range is now available in stores and online.
