Pets at Home has unveiled a new Halloween range for dogs and cats, with prices starting from £2. The collection includes costumes, bedding, toys and treats with a spooky theme, available to shop on the retailer's website now.
Among the standout items is the £18 Coffin Pet Bed, designed for cats and small dogs, shaped like a miniature coffin and featuring a 'Do Not Disturb' sign. Another option is the £10 Little Pumpkin Dog Sweater, a cream knitted jumper with orange stitching, available in sizes from extra small to large.
Costumes and accessories for dogs
For pups looking to go all-out, the £8 Pumpkin Dog Costume includes a matching hat and comes in small, medium and large. A more subtle £2 Pumpkin Dog Bowtie is also available. Other canine options include the £8 Vampire Dog Cape, the £10 Glow in the Dark Skeleton Dog Onesie, the £10 Lil' Devil Dog Hoodie with horns and a pointed tail, and the £8 Bat Dog Costume with wings and fangs.
The range has proven popular on Pets at Home's social media channels. One pet owner said: "The little pumpkin jumper has my heart," while another declared: "We are obsessed." However, one follower asked: "Nothing for small animals?"
Cat beds and toys
Cats can use the £16 Pumpkin Pet Bed or the £20 Monster Brew Cauldron Pet Bed. New toys include a set of six Disney Villains Maleficent Cat Toys for £9, featuring catnip, crinkles, bells, ribbons and feathers. A pair of Warner Bros Gremlins Squeaky Dog Toys is priced at £12, and Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees plush dog toys cost £6 each.
Other retailers are also offering Halloween pet items. Sainsbury's has a Halloween Rollneck Jumper for £6 as part of its Rosewood Spirit & Spook range, Tesco is selling a Halloween Pumpkin Dog Jumper for £9.99, and B&M has a collection starting from £1, including rope toys and pumpkin jumpers.
