Parents are praising Decathlon's Lightweight Rip-Tab Shoes Soft 140, now reduced to £9.99, for being comfortable and lasting longer than other school shoes. One parent said their son would 'grow out' of them before they fall apart.
Shoes Slashed by 33%
The smoked black waterproof trainers have been cut from £14.99 to £9.99, a 33 per cent discount, as part of Decathlon's 'Middle Aisle' promotion. The shoes are available in sizes 8C to 5.5 and feature rip-tab straps and laces for easy wear. They come in navy blue, royal blue, white, watermelon pink, and pearl pink.
Decathlon says the shoes are 'easy to get on and off' and describes them as 'the perfect choice for sport or the playground'.
Parent Reviews Highlight Comfort and Durability
The shoes currently hold a 4.8-star rating online. Kat shared: "Excellent trainers for my son. Lightweight, breathable, perfect for school and home. Will buy again."
Kimberly remarked: "I have an autistic son who struggles getting shoes on and also has wide feet. These are great as they are affordable and offer independence as he can get them on himself and fasten the Velcro straps. Can see these being a repeat purchase."
Rakesh posted: "Before the school starts, I get the same shoes for my son every year. It's comfortable and lasts longer compared to other shoes I have bought before. I have bought it for the third time."
Gareth added: "My kid says they are comfy. They are very light and still look good after eight months. He will outgrow them before they fall apart." However, Daniel wrote: "Well made and well priced. Not the most durable shoe, but then I don't think it's designed to be. Very comfortable from day one."
