If you have old Nintendo DS games gathering dust in your attic, they could be worth hundreds of pounds. Nintendo games tend to hold their value, especially compared to releases from other platforms. With the Nintendo DS selling tens of millions of units, there is a good chance you may own some of these valuable retro games.
Gaming site Solitaired has compiled a list of the most valuable Nintendo DS games based on cash offers from UK retailer CEX. Topping the list is Kirby Super Star Ultra, valued at £87 if it includes the manual and box. Suikoden: Tierkreis follows at £84, while Dragon Quest V: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride is worth £72.
Other high-value titles include Solatorobo: Red the Hunter at £66, Dementium II at £61, and Megaman Starforce 2: Zerker X Ninja at £55. Pokemon Conquest, Pokemon SoulSilver, and Pokemon HeartGold also make the top ten, each selling for over £40.
You can get even more by trading the games for an in-store voucher or selling directly to collectors on sites like eBay. This could help offset the rising cost of living, especially if the games are just sitting around unused.
