The Ninja Luxe Cafe Mini Plus espresso machine is available at Amazon for £399, down from £479.99 – a 20 per cent saving on the manual milk frother version.
The bean-to-cup machine is designed to produce barista-quality brews with minimal effort, making it a strong option for anyone upgrading from a pod machine or looking to cut café spending.
A compact design for small kitchens
A shrunken version of the larger Cafe Luxe, the Mini Plus features the same stainless steel and black plastic finish but takes up little counter space, making it well suited to smaller London homes.
An LED screen displays milk and filter coffee settings and shows whether the machine is set for a single or double espresso shot, while the buttons are clearly labelled and self-explanatory.
Simple brewing process
The machine comes with a portafilter, single and double baskets, a funnel, an assisted tamper, and a milk jug. Users select either the single or double basket, which the machine recognises and adjusts settings accordingly, before fitting the portafilter in the grinder.
The machine then detects the optimum grind size. After the grounds are tamped, pressing 'start brew' delivers a hot espresso. An Americano or long black can be made by adding hot water.
Filter coffee is made by dialling to classic, rich, or over ice settings. With the current 20 per cent discount, the machine is priced at £399 on Amazon.co.uk.
