M&S Yorkshire Pudding Wraps return to cafe menu for autumn
M&S Yorkshire Pudding Wraps return to cafe menu

Marks & Spencer has brought back its Yorkshire Pudding Wraps to M&S Cafes as part of the autumn and winter seasonal menu, sparking excitement among shoppers—though the lack of vegetarian options and the £8.50 cafe price have drawn criticism.

What's on the menu

The wraps first launched on September 4, 2024, as part of the Autumn/Winter seasonal menu. They feature a soft, traditional giant Yorkshire pudding folded around rich Sunday roast-style fillings. Three meat-based options are available: Slow-Cooked Beef & Stuffing, Roast Chicken & Stuffing, and Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork.

The beef wrap contains shredded British beef, sage and onion stuffing, Dutch-style red cabbage, and rich beef gravy. The chicken wrap includes British roast chicken, sage and onion stuffing, shredded cabbage, carrots, and rich gravy. Both are served hot and toasted. The pulled pork option comes with 6-hour slow-cooked British pulled pork, creamy leeks, sage and onion stuffing, and Kentish apple cider sauce.

Social media reaction

Influencer James Andrew announced the return to his 127,000 Instagram followers. Many reacted with enthusiasm, with comments like "Oh wow," "Oh my God, I really need to get this," and "When we going M&S?!"

However, others expressed disappointment. One commenter wrote: "I wish they made a vegetarian version. I have to wait for the Xmas markets to have an overpriced one." Another said: "No veggie options again!" A third called the £8.50 cafe price "ridiculous."

Alternatives and retail versions

There are no vegetarian Yorkshire Pudding Wraps. For vegetarian hot lunches, the M&S Cafe offers options like Roasted Courgette and Feta Frittata, Mediterranean Poached Eggs, or hot toasted paninis.

Shoppers can also buy chilled retail versions in M&S Foodhalls for £7, compared to £8.50 in the cafe. These are sold uncooked and can be heated at home in an air fryer (approx. 10–13 minutes) or oven (approx. 18 minutes). The retail version has a slightly tweaked recipe—for example, the beef wrap includes roasted carrots, spring greens, hot horseradish sauce, and cheese béchamel sauce alongside the slow-cooked British beef.
