Marks and Spencer shoppers are turning away from traditional Christmas tree toppers this year in favour of something different. The Cream Pearl Beaded Bow Tree Topper, priced at £15, is selling quickly ahead of December.
A Glamorous Alternative to the Star
The large bow is covered with large and miniature pearl beads for a textured look. A secure hanging loop allows for easy display, whether it replaces the star or angel on top of the tree, or takes pride of place on a doorway or mantlepiece.
Available online only, the Cream Pearl Beaded Bow Tree Topper is selling fast, earning a near-perfect 4.9/5 star rating so far on the M&S website. One shopper said: "Beautiful and such excellent quality. Much better than I had expected, not flimsy at all, beading is stunning and should last for years."
Another pleased shopper said: "Absolutely beautiful bow. This is a quality bow. A great price and would look great on the top of a Christmas tree or anywhere else in the home. So pleased I ordered it."
A third fan added: "Best tree topper. This bow tree topper is gorgeous and looks way more expensive than it was. It's really good quality."

However, one shopper marked it down, writing: "Beautiful topper but arrived quite creased due to packaging."
For a cheaper option, Dunelm stocks the 54 LED Gold Starburst Tree Topper, priced at £8. This abstract star features 54 battery operated LED lights which emit a 'soft, comforting glow'. Shoppers have called this topper "a nice alternative" to a normal star and "really classy looking", although three AA batteries are required and must be purchased separately.
Next also offers several topper options, including the Red Striped Extra Large Bow Tree Topper for £22. Also available in a green mix, the dramatic bow has long, flowing trails which cascade down the tree. Made from 100% cotton with a recycled polyester filling, it is designed to last year after year.
